Rev. Karmene has been a Truth student since 1986, having pursued with studies through Unity and Science of Mind. 

Rev. Karmene has served as a volunteer Unity Sunday School and Y.O.U. teacher, as well as, Sound Board Assistant. 

Rev. Karmene also served on the First Unity staff of St. Petersburg, Fl., as Office Assistant.

Rev. Karmene  served on the Pastoral Staff of the Temple of the Living God of St. Petersburg, Fl., for several years.

Rev. Karmene served on the Ministerial Outreach Team, and now serves as the Assistant Pastor of the Temple of the Living God of St. Petersburg, Fl. 

As a Speaker, Rev. Karmene has given talks in local Florida Metaphysical Churches and facilities since 1989.  Prior to that, while in Canada, she lectured, on occasion, in the Latvian Lutheran Church.
She has led meditation groups in a variety of settings, as well as led women's support groups that are designed to embrace, uplift and empower the Goddess within.

As a Teacher and Workshop Facilitator, Rev. Karmene has organized and led workshops/seminars throughout Florida since 1990, which focus on 'Embracing One's Magnificence' and 'Inner Healing' of the Spirit, mind and body. These have been designed for both adult as well as children's groups.

As a Composer/Writer, she has been creatively writing since the young age of six or seven. Her writings reflect a simple, yet profound, heartfelt message of Universal love, peace and harmony. Her work continues to speak to the Spirit of everyone.

As a Recording Artist,  Karmene birthed her first recording of original songs and music in the summer of 1998, and, continues to incorporate music as part of her Ministry, touching the hearts of listeners throughout the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Latvia, Ireland, Australia and China.
As a Musician and Vocalist, she has had a lifetime of musical training, instruction and performance, both in Canada and in Florida. Her instrumental training included violin, cello, trombone, recorder, Indian Flute, handbells, guitar, keyboard and marimba. Her vocal training led to and have included Voice Trio-Ensembles, Madrigalian Groups, Choirs and Solo Performances.  She has hosted an "Open Mic" night at the "Wings" Bookstore, in St. Petersburg, Fl. for about 1 1/2 years, after which she moved on to pursue with other musical ventures.  

Karmene has also had the opportunity to travel, presenting occasional Latvian musical concerts throughout the U.S. with her Latvian musical partner, Peter Ozols.

For over twenty-five years, Karmene has been a featured musician and singer for Churches, Retreats, Conferences, Community Plays and Outdoor Community Concerts.
She has had the honor of opening for such notable speakers as Alan Cohen, Eckhart Tolle, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Walter Starcke, , Edwene Gaines, Father Leo Booth et al.  In 2014, Karmene was given the honor of participating as a solo artist(Singer) for the Latvian Song & Dance Festival in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Since 1997, Karmene has expanded her Music and Healing Ministry to include Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation Centers and Retirement Facilities.

As a Dancer/Dance Instructor (Ballroom, Free-Form, Sacred Movement) and Fine Arts Artist, Karmene has served with an open, sincere and gentle heart, helping and teaching others to recognize and welcome their own unique, creative abilities, with the hope that people's lives may continue to be more richly blessed in positive ways. 

As a student and teacher of Love, Peace and Truth, Rev. Karmene has dedicated her life to live from the heart, as she shares her gifts with a grateful Spirit.  In sharing her many talents, Rev. Karmene truly brings to her audiences a beautifully inspired, conscious journey of the heart, that all may embrace and integrate within their own lives, as they awaken to their own unlimited, greater potential in becoming all they are meant to be.

Rev. Karmene's talent and work echo a celebration for life itself, creatively portraying a sensitive awareness towards Universal love, peace, Unity and harmony.

Rev. Karmene continues to live her dreams, giving herself permission to follow her Spirit without hesitation, stepping out on those 'skinny branches' on faith and trust, often into unknown waters, while knowing that she is being called to be of service to mankind, to make a positive difference in this world, where much needed healing, compassion and understanding are needed.

In following her Truth, Karmene serves as an example for others to also follow their heart, their dreams, and thus, to celebrate their Spirit.
And, as a result, we are blessed to work together in the Spirit of Oneness.



"Spirit in Celebration" now includes a team of support people, who offer their time,  energy and love ~ in helping to make the collective consciousness of Oneness be more effectively embraced and nurtured, so that others might become awakened and/or more enlightened on their own spiritual journeys.

It is our vision that, one by one, we will help create a more peaceful, harmonious, love-filled world.
As we reach out into the community, and the world at large, we lovingly acknowlegde and support each Spirit in Celebration, as the collective consciousness works together for the good of all.
